A Classic Bourbon Cocktail

The Boulevardier is a classic bourbon cocktail that’s easy to make. This one is often compared to a Negroni, as they share similar ingredients. But the comparison ends there as a Boulevardier has a much deeper profile.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces bourbon

  • 1 ounce Campari

  • 1 ounce sweet vermouth

Mix the ingredients and add ice. Garnish with an orange peel twist.

The Boulevardier is not what I would describe as light and refreshing. It’s definitely a cold weather sipper — one of those drinks that’s ideal for times when you want to slowly enjoy the depth of flavors. It’s also on the menu at the Enchanted Rose in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, so you can always make it a little vacation magic.
